Recommendation how to choose right length of a baby sling: According to above chart choose the length from which you are able to tie all positions you want to use. The length depends also on size of your clothing (girth around your shoulders and chest). It does not depend on size of your child. All cradles positions are the most suitable for newborns .The most favourit, but also very length consuming position is wrap around cross carry, which you can use for a baby when 4 weeks old. In case of asymmetric positions (cradle I. and II. and hip carry) you will wind surplus cloth around your body or tie a loin cloth (kangaroo carry and rucksack carry). People who use the baby sling very often usually buy also a shorter one in time.
